Accuplacer Testing
The Accuplacer Test is used by technical colleges and community colleges to find the accurate placement for you in certain classes. The ACT test does trump the Accuplacer (meaning, it would cover the bases for most technical colleges, community colleges, and 4-year universities), but many technical and community colleges want you to take the Accuplacer Test anyhow for placement purposes. If you are in doubt as to whether you should take the ACT or the Accuplacer, please visit with Mrs. Eilert.
If you are considering attending NCK Tech next year, they will administer the Accuplacer Test there for free. If you are not sure where you will be attending, then you will need to pay a $25 fee to take the test. It will take about an hour to test, and you will go to the General Education building on NCK Tech campus to test.
If you are interested in taking the Accuplacer Test at NCK Tech, here are the following test dates and times:
September 6, 2019 @ 1:30 p.m.
October 4, 2019 @ 1:30 p.m.
November 1, 2019 @ 1:30 p.m.
December 6, 2019 @ 1:30 p.m.
January 10, 2020 @ 1:30 p.m.
February 7, 2020 @ 1:30 p.m.
March 6, 2020 @ 1:30 p.m.
April 10, 2020 @ 1:30 p.m.
May 1, 2020 @ 1:30 p.m.
