Evergy and WCNOC Craft Scholarships Available
Evergy (formerly Westar Energy/Kansas City Power & Light) and WCNOC (Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation) Scholarship Opportunity:
The attached flyer contains information about their 9 Craft Scholarships (linemen, power plant operators and wind energy technicians) valued at $3,000 each per year and renewable for 1 additional year. Students interested in their craft scholarships will need to visit their company website and click on the “Scholarship” link which is located at the bottom of the page under the Community tab to complete the application. A separate Ellis Foundation application will also be required, and information on how to complete the second application will come after the first application is received.
Deadline to apply for the Craft scholarships is March 1, 2020.
