Bill Spaniol Memorial Scholarship
THE BILL SPANIOL MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
The Kansas Environmental Health Association (KEHA) is a professional organization whose objective is to promote the competency and effectiveness of the environmental health professionals of Kansas. To maintain a competent environmental health workforce, KEHA recognizes the importance of a sound educational foundation. Since 2002, KEHA has offered one or more $500 scholarships from the Bill Spaniol Memorial Scholarship fund annually to encourage individuals to pursue a degree in Environmental Science or a related field.
Any student who will be graduating or has graduated from a Kansas high school and will be attending a technical college, community college or a four-year private or public college or university is eligible. First priority in awarding will be given to individuals who are seeking a career in Environmental Sciences or a related field. Application packets are due by February 29, 2016, and all applicants will be notified of the Scholarship Committee’s decision by March 31, 2016.
