Tortoise Young Entrepreneurs Scholarship:
The Tortoise Young Entrepreneurs Scholarship is awarded annually to high school seniors and college students who have demonstrated an interest in entrepreneurship. The scholarship is sponsored by Tortoise Capital Advisors and aims to foster entrepreneurship among today’s youth.

They will award three, non-renewable scholarships:
First Place:  $3,000
Second Place: $2,000
Third Place: $1,000

Eligibility:
To be eligible, the applicant must be a permanent resident of the United States who is enrolled or plans to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study towards a bachelor’s degree, or;
Be a non-resident of the United States who is enrolled or plans to enroll as a full-time student in a four-year bachelor’s program or graduate program at an accredited university or college, and;
Have a recommended minimum 3.3 grade-point average (on a 4.0 scale or equivalent) and minimum ACT score of 24 or SAT score of 1680 (includes writing section).
