Social Impact Lab: Free Opportunity Through Kansas State University

Social Impact Lab:

This is a great, free opportunity for any of you who might be interested!
 

When?  April 26
Who?  7th through 10th graders
Cost? FREE
Number of registrants they will accept?  100

Will transportation be provided for you there?  No, if you want to attend, you will need to find your own way there and back. It would be an excused absence from school.

The Social Impact Lab is a one-day event that utilizes hands-on interactive activities to highlight helping professional skills and various career paths in the helping profession.

The program will cover topics such as self-care, communication and conflict resolution skills, self-awareness and cultural competence, social and emotional skills, political advocacy, crime scene investigation, disaster preparedness, problem-solving, developing relationships, counseling, and more to expose students to the types of activities for which helping professionals are engaged.
