Rural Voices Youth Contest
Rural Voices Youth Contest Information:
The 2023-2024 Rural Voices Youth Contest for high school seniors is officially underway!
North Central Regional Planning Commission (NCRPC), based in Beloit, invites high school seniors located in the 12-county NCRPC service area to participate. This includes the counties of Clay, Cloud, Dickinson, Ellsworth, Jewell, Lincoln, Marshall, Mitchell, Ottawa, Republic, Saline and Washington.
To enter, seniors may submit an essay or short video based on this year’s contest theme — “Rural Kansas… Success Through Innovation.” The top two entries will receive a cash award of $1,000 and have their entry published on the NCRPC website. This is a great opportunity for scholarship money for college or for cash to help someone get started on the job with tools or other expenses.
The entry deadline is February 1, 2024. More details are available at the link here.
